Our MetaQuest Team consists of highly-qualified teachers and curriculum writers who are well-versed with the MOE Science exam criteria and the best way to achieve great results. All of them possess real experience in the scientific field and hold degrees from reputable universities.

Mr Goh Zhi Long

Science Teacher

B.S. (Hons), Nanyang Technological University (Environment Earth System Science)

Mr Goh Zhi Long graduated from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with an Honours degree (Merit) in Environment Earth System Science. Before joining MetaQuest, he was an outdoor Science educator enriching his students’ Science knowledge through inquiry-based and multi-sensory learning in nature’s classroom. As such, his students enjoy his engaging classes with his use of real-world scientific examples and experiential learning to ignite their eureka moment.

 

Mr Zhi Long has a sense of fulfilment whenever he sees his students benefitting from his teaching, which drives him to continually improve his pedagogy with new methods. Besides helping his students achieve academic excellence, he also instils in them the understanding that “Good results will come with dedication and consistent hard work!”.

Ms Suba J

Science Teacher

B.Sc., University of Western Australia (Biomedical Genetics)

Ms Suba possesses a degree in Biomedical Genetics awarded by the University of Western Australia. For the past seven years, she has taught Science to primary and secondary school students at enrichment and tuition centres, as well as conducted workshops in the fields of Forensic Science, Applied Chemistry and Bioinformatics for secondary school students. She is committed to the lifelong learning journey that is required of Science teachers, with an interest in emerging Chemistry technologies in the field of Additive Manufacturing. During the COVID pandemic, she graduated from the SGUS Additive manufacturing programme offered by SIMTech in conjunction with A*Star, and worked on a research project with respected scientists.

 

She is passionate about inspiring young minds in the area of scientific inquiry, and sharing her interests in the field of Science to broaden her students’ knowledge.  

This programme was interesting and the teachers were engaging. The experiments conducted were relevant and reinforced what was learnt during the lesson.

 

My daughter enjoyed the lesson and is looking forward to more lessons conducted by MetaQuest in the future.

Starr enjoys his lessons very much and has improved in his answering of Open-Ended Questions.

 

He said he enjoyed the activities the most and looks forward to them every week. He also says he hopes to have a pet worm so that he can watch its life cycle as it grows.
