Designed to strengthen conceptual understanding and application in the topic of Water. In this course, students will:

Understand the three states of water (solid, liquid, gas) and recognise that water can change between them
Explain the effects of heat gain and heat loss on the state and temperature of water
Distinguish between melting, freezing, evaporation, and condensation
Learn and use correct scientific keywords when describing changes of state
Understand the factors affecting the rate of evaporation
Understand the importance of water conservation
Describe the effects of water pollution on Earth’s water resources

P6 Science SUPERCHARGED!™: Energy

18 & 20 Mar (Wed & Fri), 12.30pm - 2.30pm

Designed to strengthen conceptual understanding of energy and its applications in the topic of Energy. In this course, students will:

Understand that energy is required to make things work or move
Recognise that most energy resources originate from the Sun
Identify and distinguish between the different forms of energy (electrical, light, heat, sound, kinetic, and potential)
Understand the factors affecting potential and kinetic energy
Explain how energy can be converted from one form to another
Learn and apply correct scientific terms when describing energy changes
Build strong foundations to interpret diagrams, situations, and everyday examples involving energy
