How do we see objects that don’t produce their own light?

Through this engaging 2-day course, P4 students will:​

Understand how light travels and how this leads to the formation of shadows

Learn how reflection allows us to see objects around us

Apply their understanding to explain how changes in position affect shadow size and shape

P5: Plant Reproduction
How do plants reproduce if they can't move?

Through this engaging 2-day course, P5 students will:​

Understand how different seed structures support different methods of dispersal

Investigate how factors like size and shape affect how seeds travel

Apply their understanding to explain how dispersal helps plants survive and reproduce

Your child will engage in a hands-on, interactive activity related to the topic for their level (Light fo P4, Plant Reproduction for P5). These are designed to be fun, engaging, and provide a taste of our teaching style.

Q3: What should my child bring to the session?
our child just needs to bring their enthusiasm and writing materials! All necessary materials for the activity and a worksheet will be provided by MQ.

Q4: Is there an online session?
No, all Open House sessions are physical only and will be conducted at our centre.
Q5: What are the qualifications of the teachers conducting these sessions?
Our sessions are led by experienced educators, including Mr Goh Zhi Long, who is proficient in making Science engaging and accessible for primary school students.
